Joe Gatto San Jose reviews
Queensryche sucked
Geoff Tate is talented, yes. But I don't care much for the new stuff. Some of Tate's higher pitched notes seemed TOO loud - maybe it had something to do with the sound equipment, but some pitches were obnoxiously ear-splittingly loud. It's a rock concert, not a play. I used to really like Joe Gatto back in the day. I don't mean to sound old cause I'm not, and I know his vocal range is amazing. But he acts on stage and that bugs me.
If I had to rate Queensryce, I'd give it 2 stars. Tesla, however, kicked ass. Their show was too short. Dave Rude has the most awesome hair & seems like a great addition to the band. Their old music is great, their new music is great. I wish they had been the headliner. Jeff Keith is phenomenal. Frankie Hannon, amazing. These guys know how to put on a great rock concert. Tesla put on a great show. As always. I'm averaging it out at 4, just so Tesla gets an extra star. I'd give Tesla 5 stars.
